How to change state of Generic Throttle handle to ON?
How to change state of Generic Throttle handle to ON?
As can be seen from the attached jpeg, I have selected a generic throttle handle and have selected a specific Arduino channel and analog input pin. X Plane 12 is running and I have the appropriate plugins for Air Manager.
The throttle control does not "work" or "override" the X Plane Throttle. It is not a question of the wrong pin being attached because no pin that I attach or designate has the appropriate operation.
The Arduino Mega 2560 was initially flashed and is connected to COM 3.
As can also be seen from the jpeg, the "State" of the generic throttle handle is "off". This can't be a good thing.
My guess is that somehow the information is not being transmitted To the Arduino. Do I need to "flash" this information to the Arduino?
Thank You
Tom

Where is the Arduino connected? It doesn't show in your screenshot.
Re: How to change state of Generic Throttle handle to ON?
In my memory (my personal memory, that is) I seem to remember having to do something in x Plane (when I was running X Plane 11) that connected the Arduino to the particular flight that I was running. I can't seem to find that "connection" in X Plane 12.

I mean in Air Manager.

Yes, then in theory, when you start the panel, it should state On.
Re: How to change state of Generic Throttle handle to ON?
Throttle Handle
Mixture Handle
Roll Input
Pitch Input
The subtle thing is that unless the "light bulb" on that panel is lit, this hardware will not be running. I lit the light bulb and things started to work.
Adding generic hardware was the best way that I could come up with for adding pitch, roll, throttle and mixture. If there is a better way, other than creating my own hardware by using specific software, please let me know.
Thank You for your help
